Limerick Food Partnership is a collaboration of business, statutory agencies, communities and local government, coming together to improve people’s health by increasing access to affordable, healthy, quality food. The Partnership achieves this by:
Limerick Food Partnership co-ordinates and/or supports a number of food projects in Limerick City including: Community Based School Meals provision, Southill Community Food Cooperative, Mid West Food Bank, Meals to Older People. Other projects that the partnership is working to develop include Community Cafés, and Urban Food Growers’ schemes. Limerick Food Partnership is a member of the Healthy Food for All Advisory Committee. |
