Healthy Food for All is developing a network to support, develop and link local and national food projects. The purpose of the network is to strengthen the national policy response to food poverty by building on the work already taking place at local level and by linking this with new interventions at national level. The network of community food projects allows for the sharing of information and experiences to enable projects to learn from others. Compiling a directory of food projects allows groups to get in contact with each other and to learn from others' experiences. If you would like your project to be included in this directory send an email detailing the project to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

The second regional networking event was held in Limerick city. Feedback from this event again was very positive and participants stated that they valued the opportunity to learn from each others' experience. The event also coincided with the launch of the Limerick Food Partnership.
The first of these events was held in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan on 8th February 2007. For more information on the event, click here. Many thanks to all who contributed to an interesting and thought-provoking discussion last Thursday. There was a great turnout and feedback suggests that participants really valued the opportunity to network with people from a variety of backgrounds, to share information and to learn about the variety and extent of different projects and research available.
